Biography
D. Ardelean is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City, working across bio arts, photography, illustration, and design. Her practice explores organic systems and visual storytelling, blending traditional techniques with experimental methods, particularly in bio art, which integrates living materials and scientific processes into creative expression.
She holds a B.A. in Media & Studio Arts, Hunter College, certificate in Graphic Design, Rhode Island School of Design, Bio Art Residency at SVA, and trained at The Art Students League.
Her work has been exhibited in notable venues across New York City, including Atlantic Gallery, LIC-A Art Space at The Factory, and the School of Visual Arts Studios.
