2016 acrylic on linen, and clay objects 16" x 24" What do we find when we dig into ourselves? A pun on the archetypal idea of archaeology reveals amphorae and broken sculpture shards. Anonymous embroiderer women made this bedding linen which the paint reveals by obscuring parts of it
