Dead Fish on the Beach

Archival pigment inkjet print 17" x 11" 2024 During sunset, the scattered dead fish on the beach, with their accompanying stench, are bathed in a warm glow from the sun. As water consumption for farming and residential uses increased, the water level of Salton Sea declined significantly, causing the salt level to rise. This increase in salinity led to a decrease in oxygen levels, resulting in the death of massive number of fish.
