About the work

Mixed-Media Installation 8'H x 10"W x 24"D 2023 This installation shows the precious qualities of nature that are judged and controlled by the decisions of select councils of individuals. Continued experimentation leads Horowitz, to a new technique of sculpting photos and accenting them three-dimensionally. Photography, wire, soft sculpture, encaustic wax, torched copper, and paint, in mixed media reliefs, are assembled to create a large-scale sculpture.
