They Distract and Confuse Us with Drugs and TV Billboard

- In the 80s on Avenue B and East 2nd Street in The Village, a defunct gas station was turned into a performance cafe and sculpture garden Called Café 2B. On the roof was an old commercial billboard that was lit at night. Artists could apply to show work on a monthly rotating basis. This piece was shown there in 1985. The billboard was 8 ft. tall and 16 ft wide. This piece was from a series of public bus posters I designed for the SEPA Gallery in Buffalo, NY called We Are the Guinea Pigs repurposed for the billboard and enlarged by tiling out 11" x 17" photocopies
