About the work

acrylic, mediums, filtered water on canvas 30”h x 40”w 2021-2022 Love is both physical and a state of being in a place I exist, my “Elsewhere”. Infinite and universal. We give it. Receive it. Yearn for it. It physically completes us. It generates joy. We sing about it. Write about it. Demand it. We need it. We are better for it. It can be seen in my artwork's stylized infinity symbol. Yet a dark side of love also exists. It can trigger harm and cause wars. Love warped is sinister, dangerous, and unfortunately a human trait, existing despite all the positive love in the world. Nothing feels right in these uncertain difficult times. The ground is shifting under our feet. What we thought was our secure life yesterday is a wisp of smoke today. A microscopic germ can kill our families and communities. Or one world leader’s warped love can kill millions. We need radical change to improve the outcome of our species through infinity. Our survival as a human race depends on building a stronger foundation, a spiritual and physical closed system of yin-yang unity and strength, achieving it peacefully through a path of earthly love, “Everywhere”. We all need to create that fundamental real place of love and fully live there. Love is what I offer the world. It’s WHAT I AM. My glass is neither half full nor half empty. My glass is overflowing. Always. That is who I am. That is WHAT I WANT TO BE. What I will create in MY Universe through ENDLESS LOVE!
