About the work

Sun Dial 2017 site-specific installation (vinyl on tree). 30 x 6’ This piece - created during my residency in a natural reserve in Ilhabela, Brazil - uses a tree struck by lightning as its frame, where I stretched different colored transparent vinyl on the branches. As the sun moved its orientation throughout the day, the colors recombined forming each moment a new palette.
