About the work

Watercolor/Collage 25" x 19" 2014 I was inspired to create works on paper for my Climate Alarm series. Sperm whales are at risk because of ocean acidity from climate change, chemical pollution, noise pollution (sonar), fishing nets, and collisions with ships. This painting was also based on a chapter in Moby Dick by Melville, titled "Symphony"
